Friday night at Joe’s on Weed Street
A goose
Trying to dance
In her blue dress at Joe’s
Young country chicks steal her thunder
Too old.

Charlie, you’re killing me! We never missed the Chmielewski Funtime on TV, but never got out to the interpretive center to see Floyd and the guys. Wow, I.m having a flashback!

Thanks so much, Debra! Of course, the back story to this poem is even MORE charming, but Mother Goose cannot tell that story at this time… 😀
