She Can’t See the Wind

Mother Goose takes the NaPoWriMo challenge very seriously. Today I will invest in yesterday’s prompt, just to keep things moving along. “Borrow the first line from a famous poem and create a new work of wonder.” Remember that NaPoWriMo goes throughout the month of April — thirty days, thirty poems. Hang onto your hats, folks!

Who Has Seen the Wind?
(with a knowing nod to Christina Rossetti)

Who has seen the wind?
I lost it yesterday,
it was there
in the air
in my hair
under my chair,
even in Eau Claire

But who has seen the wind
Today.

Why really, 30 poems, in 30 days. In Eau Claire?

    Is this a dare?

    ….

    That’s all I got.

Love these. And happy Spring Mother Goose.

Jeff, well done. Surely, you could add daily poetry to your already overwhelmingly unbelievable project of posting five blogs each and every day! Keep moving forward, right? πŸ˜€

Thirty poems in thirty days is a lot of pressure. Hope you get plenty of rest! πŸ™‚

Debra, I am finding that this new creative outlet is actually filling me with unexplained energy and happy thoughts! Who needs rest anyway — so overrated!
